The Buhrenboden nature reserve is located in the Dinkelberg in the municipality of Rheinfelden (Baden) in the district of Lörrach .

Location and description
The Buhrenboden nature reserve is located in the Rheinfelden district of Eichsel and has a total size of around 16 hectares. It contains light, heat-favored deciduous forest stands with the only natural occurrence of laurel daphne in Baden-Württemberg. It is the habitat of numerous plant species that are in need of care and in some cases endangered.
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose of the nature reserve is conservation and development
- light, heat-favored deciduous forest with the only natural occurrence of laurel daphne in Baden-Württemberg;
- a dry dobel with deer tongue occurrence;
- endangered habitats in dry and warm locations such as grasslands and perennial borders;
- the habitats of numerous plant species that are in need of care and in some cases endangered.
