The Langenbach-Trubelsbach nature reserve is located in the municipality of Todtnau in the Lörrach district .
Characteristics
The nature reserve was designated by ordinance of the Freiburg Regional Council of May 16, 1995 and has a size of 35.9906 hectares. It is listed under the protected area number 3.207. The CDDA code for the nature reserve is 164349 and corresponds to the WDPA ID .
Location and description
The Langenbach-Trubelsbach nature reserve is located in the municipality of Todtnau in the Muggenbrunn district with a total size of around 36 hectares. The nature reserve consists of two sections, which are a diverse mosaic of raised and transitional moors, flat moors, wet meadows, grass grass and other biotopes surrender. In particular, the bogs in their specific form are of great scientific importance.
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of the two parts of the area
- as a diverse mosaic of raised and transitional moors, flat moors, wet meadows, grass turf and other biotopes;
- as habitats for numerous rare and endangered animal and plant species;
- as objects of importance for science - especially moorland research.
