The Rütscheten nature reserve is located in the municipality of Bad Bellingen in the district of Lörrach .

Characteristics

The nature reserve was designated by ordinance of the Freiburg Regional Council of July 22, 1988 and has a size of 5.5987 hectares. It is listed under the protected area number 3.163. The CDDA code for the nature reserve is 165271 and corresponds to the WDPA ID .

Location and description

The Rütscheten nature reserve is located in the municipality of Bad Bellingen in the Bellingen district with a total size of around 5.6 ha. It is the habitat of a large number of rare plant and animal species.

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose is the preservation of a vegetation mosaic made up of semi-arid grassland, tall forbid groups, bushes and woody plants as a habitat for a multitude of rare animal and plant species.
