The Buick Envision S is a sports utility vehicle from the Buick automobile brand . It has been produced at SAIC General Motors in Shanghai since 2020 .

Model history

The vehicle was officially presented in China in June 2020 . Since the end of July 2020, it has been sold there alongside the Buick Envision , which was introduced in 2014 . The vehicle will also go on sale in North America . This version was presented in May 2020, but will only be available in stores in early 2021. There it is marketed as the Buick Envision . Like the Cadillac XT4 , the model is based on the GM E2XX platform .

Technical specifications

In China, the Envision S is powered by a turbocharged two-liter gasoline engine with 174 kW (237 hp). It has front-wheel drive as standard, all-wheel drive is available at an additional cost . The highest equipment variant, Avenir, is only available with all-wheel drive.
