The models were built in Argentina and Brazil , and production ended in 2016.
After the generation change of the Opel Corsa at the end of 2000, there were also changes in the Chevrolet range. While the Corsa C was offered as the Chevrolet Corsa in most markets , the old model continued to be produced under a new name and with slight visual changes.
The Corsa B is still available in some countries. In Argentina and Uruguay it is offered as the Corsa Classic , in Brazil as the Classic and in Chile as the Corsa . While it was sold in Argentina and Chile with hatchbacks and notchbacks, in Uruguay it is sold with notchbacks and station wagons called Corsa Wagon . In Brazil it was available in all body styles.
An offshoot of the Corsa B with a modified front end is the Chevrolet Chevy , which was produced from 2004 to 2012 and offered in Colombia and Mexico with a hatchback and notchback. In Mexico, at the end of production, a special model was offered under the name "Joy".
