The Chevrolet Omega is an upper mid-range model offered by the Brazilian subsidiary of the US car manufacturer Chevrolet between 1992 and 2011.
Chevrolet Omega A (1992-1998)
The first Chevrolet Omega was a replica of the Opel Omega A produced in Brazil . The range included sedans and station wagons (under the name Suprema ) in the versions 2.0 GLS and 3.0 CD. On the drive side, there was initially a 2.0-l in- line four-cylinder engine and a 3.0-l in-line six-cylinder engine to choose from, followed by a 2.2-l four-cylinder engine and a 4.1-l six-cylinder from 1995 -Motor were replaced. In 1998 the production of this generation in Brazil was stopped.

Chevrolet Omega B (1999-2007)

The first Omega was replaced in 1999 by the successor on the GM-V platform called Omega B in Brazil , which is an imported version of the VT II, VX, VY and VZ series of the Holden Commodore and the better equipped models on the same basis Berlina and Calais. The Commodore is itself technically related to the Opel Omega B . The Omega B is only available as a four-door model in Brazil; Until 2005, a 3.8-liter V6 engine with a maximum output of 149 kW (203 hp) was used, followed by a more modern 3.6-l V6 engine with a maximum output of 190 kW (258 hp) ) for use.
Chevrolet Omega C (2007-2011)
The fourth generation of the Holden Commodore (VE / VF) was introduced as the Omega C in Brazil in mid-2007 . In Australia, the new model had already appeared a year earlier. This model was offered in Brazil until 2011. Then the sale was discontinued without a direct successor.
