The Chevrolet Agile is a small car built by General Motors in Brazil and Argentina . It is a further development of the Chevrolet Corsa , which is derived from the Opel Corsa B , but also contains components from the Chevrolet Celta . A concept vehicle in SUV form was presented for the first time in 2008. The vehicle is powered by a 1.4-liter flex-fuel engine.
The second generation of the Chevrolet Montana pick-up , which is also powered by the 1.4-liter flexible fuel vehicle engine , was also developed on the same platform ( Gamma II ) . The 1.4-liter engine is also installed in the Chevrolet Celta and Opel Corsa. In most South American markets, the 1389 cm³ engine has a maximum output of 68 kW (92 hp) and 120 Nm as maximum torque . The Brazilian variant generates a maximum of 71 kW (97 PS) and 129 Nm torque in gasoline mode and a maximum of 75 kW (102 PS) and 132 Nm in ethanol mode . The Agile is offered in the equipment variants LT and LTZ and in some markets LS as basic equipment. The anti-lock braking system is only available with the LTZ model. From 2014, the vehicle was also available in the Effect equipment variant.
In 2013 the vehicle received a facelift . With the introduction of the Chevrolet Onix , the Agile was discontinued in some markets.
