The Buick Marquette was a series of passenger cars manufactured by Buick in the United States only in the 1930 model year . Since all model numbers began with a 3, these models can (unofficially) also be referred to as series 30 .

The car had a side-controlled six-cylinder in-line engine with 3488 cm³ displacement, which delivered an output of 67.5 bhp (50 kW). The engine came from sister company Oldsmobile and was smaller than the other power sources of the Buick vehicles of this year. At 2896 mm, the wheelbase of the cars was also 4 ″ less than that of the next larger models in the 40 series . The Marquette was therefore the entry-level model. At a price of between US $ 990 and US $ 1060, it was also around US $ 270 cheaper than the 40 series. All four wheels, which were designed as wooden spoke wheels, were mechanically braked.

In addition to a two-door roadster and a four-door Phaeton, there were also more modern bodies, such as a two-door business coupé, a two-door sports coupé and sedans with two or four doors.

In 1931 all Buick were equipped with eight-cylinder engines. The design of the Marquette no longer suited this, so that it was discontinued without replacement after only one model year and 30,570 copies (50% of which were four-door sedans).
