Cadaveric Crematorium is an Italian grindcore and death metal band from Brescia that was founded in 1996.

history

The band was founded in 1996, after which, after several line-up changes, the group consisting of the drummer Francesco "Parla" Parlatore, the singer Dr., the bassist C and the guitarist Giovanni "Willi" Biloni came together. In 1998 a self-produced, self-titled first demo was recorded and released the following year. In 1999 C left the group and was replaced by John. In the summer of 2000, Pierre "Jad" joined the line-up as a further guitarist, making them a quintet. A few months later in 2001 the self-produced demo Cry Now Motherfucker was published with this line-up . The demo and their stage show allowed the band to increase their popularity. In 2001 they went on a tour through Europe with Prejudice ( Belgium ) and Sacred Sin ( Portugal ) . This included appearances in France , Spain , Portugal, Germany , Switzerland and Austria . In 2002 the band won the national headbanging competition , which was managed and promoted by the Hard Cash Agency . Since the win, concerts have followed with Necrophagist , Cephalic Carnage , Malevolent Creation , General Surgery , Goratory , Ancient , Mindsnare , the Undertakers , Bastard Saints , Nefas , Snp , Cripple Bastards , Prejudice, Anthropofagius , Natron , Kataklysm , Nyctophobic , Fleshless , Hypnos and Mastic Scum . In winter 2002 they went on another tour through Europe with concerts in Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany and Denmark . In the summer of 2003, John left the group and was replaced by bassist Necrom. In the same year a record deal was signed with the Austrian label Resound Gr! Nd Records , after which the recordings for the first EP in Nadir Studios began with the sadist guitarist Tommy Talamanca as producer. The finished sound carrier was released in 2004 under the name Pathologist Instability . In the summer of 2004, the debut album was recorded in the same studio and a release planned for September. This was followed by another tour through Europe, with concerts in Austria, Slovenia , Hungary and Germany. In 2005, Cadaveric Crematorium separated from Resound Gr! Nd Records because they received too little information from the label, there was little communication and the release of the album had been postponed several times. Instead, a record deal with The Spew Records , a sub-label of Punishment 18 Records , was signed, about which the album was released in 2005 under the name Serial Grinder . The album sold out and later re-released in early 2007. The release was followed by various appearances, such as participation in a metal battle in 2006. In summer 2006 the band performed at the Grind Your Mother Festival , the Evolution Festival and the Wacken Open Air . In the summer of 2007 she took part in the Heineken Jammin Festival . The next album followed in 2008 with Grindpeace via Punishment 18 Records. This year and the following year, Cadaveric Crematorium played concerts with Vomitory , Brujeria , Necrophobic and Illdisposed, among others . In August 2009 the guitarist Pierre “Jad” left the group for personal reasons. After a few months of audition, Mirco joined the band as a replacement, who made his debut in December. The group was represented at A Cold Night in Hell , as was Obscura . In 2010 the band continued their live activity and played with Napalm Death and Suffocation , among others. Between the end of the year and February 2011, the group recorded the departures of guitarist Mirco and drummer Parlatore. The latter was replaced by Andrea "Gerro" Gorio and the group continued as a quartet. The third album was released in May 2012 under the name One of Them , before the band acted as opening act for Sepultura in June 2012 . Gorio left the following month, whereupon Ale Tinti came in as a temporary replacement. In early 2013 Parlatore returned to the band as a permanent member.

style

Markus Endres from Metal.de assigned Serial Grinder to Grindcore, which lacks its own identity and is interchangeable with the music of the genre colleagues. The vocals fluctuate between screams and growls . The riffs are mostly kept straight. The group occasionally incorporated humorous passages into the songs, parodying groups like Metallica or Iron Maiden . Basti from heavyhardes.de wrote in his review of Grindpeace that it was a mixture of technical and brutal death metal , thrashy grindcore and deathcore , while macabre lyrics were used. The music is like a mix of Mortician , Cannibal Corpse , Job for a Cowboy and Nasum . Fast played riffs and deep guttural vocals are also characteristic . As with Mortician, some songs would begin with samples from horror films , but with Italian dubbing. Reini von Stormbringer.at also reviewed the album and assigned it to grindcore. The group partly utilize quirky agent by an opera singer or flamenco guitars come used to the feed anthem of WWE - Wrestlers or you burp processed through a song.
