Camille Lacourt (born April 22, 1985 in Narbonne ) is a French swimmer .

Camille Lacourt started swimming at the age of five. The multiple French champion over 50 m and 100 m and on the short course is considered a back specialist . At the World Championships in Rome in 2009 , he finished fifth over 50 m back. At the European Championships in Budapest in 2010 , he won the title over the 50 m distance and set a new national record. He won over 100 m back in front of his compatriot Jérémy Stravius in a new European record time of 52.11 seconds. Lacourt won his third gold medal with the French 4 × 100 m individual medalist relay before the relays from Russia and the Netherlands. At the European Short Course Championships in 2013, he moved up to silver after the disqualification of the second-placed Russian Vitaly Melnikov for doping .

Lacourt and his compatriot Stravius ​​provided a novelty at the 2011 World Swimming Championships in Shanghai . At the same time they won gold over 100 m back.
