Carl Baumüller

Carl August Baumüller (born November 4, 1786 in Heidelberg , † August 13, 1851 in Illenau ; Protestant) was a lawyer in the Baden state service since 1809 and was retired on December 19, 1846.

Life

Baumüller studied from March 3, 1803 law at the University of Heidelberg . In 1804 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Heidelberg . From May 2, 1806 he was a legal intern . His professional career continued with the position he took up on September 17, 1809 as Oberamt assessor and third official at Oberamt Hochberg in Emmendingen . On December 26, 1809, he was promoted to bailiff at the Endingen district office and on October 22, 1813 , he was transferred to the Lörrach district office . He was appointed senior bailiff there on August 7, 1815. In 1822 he was appointed ministerial advisor and member of the Justice Department and in the same year in November 1822 he was transferred to the Ministry of the Interior. Subsequently, from March 9, 1824, he was senior bailiff at the Rastatt district office and from May 30, 1824, senior bailiff at the Durlach district office . His appointment to the Privy Council 3rd class took place on June 5, 1829. Six months later he became director of the Evangelical Upper Church Council in Karlsruhe. In 1846 he retired.
