Wilhelm Exter

Wilhelm Exter (born September 2, 1805 in Kork (Kehl) , † April 22, 1873 in Durlach ) was a German administrative officer and judge.

Life

Born as the son of a district secretary, Wilhelm Exter studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1824 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . After taking the legal exam in 1829, he became a legal intern in Durlach. In 1834 he received the appointment of an official assessor there. In 1838 he joined as an official assessor and magistrate for district office Wertheim and 1841, the second officer and bailiff to Karlsruhe. In 1843 he was appointed to the head of the district office in Kork and in 1845 he was promoted to senior bailiff. In 1847 he moved to the district office of Lörrach and in 1849 to the district office of Rheinbischofsheim . From 1857 until his retirement in 1870 he was chief magistrate at the Mannheim District Court .
