Max Becker (Senior Administrator)

Max Becker (born March 3, 1848 in Karlsruhe , † March 1, 1896 in Lörrach ) was a German lawyer and administrative officer.

Life

After studying law in Göttingen, Tübingen, Leipzig and Berlin, Becker passed the second state examination in law in 1874. In 1871 he entered the Baden civil service as a legal intern. After various subordinate assignments in courts and district offices, he was appointed bailiff in Constance in 1876 and in Triberg in 1880 . From 1886 to 1890 he held this position at the Sinsheim district office and from 1890 to 1896 at the Lörrach district office .

In 1889 he received the Knight's Cross 1st Class of the Order of the Zähringer Lion .
