Christian Natschläger

Christian Natschläger (* 1958 in Engelhartszell ) is an Austrian designer , draftsman and sculptor .

Natschläger graduated from the HTL for mechanical engineering in Linz . He then studied metal in the master class for plastic design with Helmuth Gsöllpointner at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz . He was later also a lecturer there and from 1991 to 2004 managing director of a Linz advertising agency for design, advertising and PR until he finally went self-employed in 2005.

His specialty is the development and design of urban transport and cable cars . Many of his designs were also realized by the companies Carvatech , Doppelmayr / Garaventa Group , Leitner AG and Bartholet Maschinenbau AG , Flums, and are in use worldwide.

Natschläger lives and works in Wilhering and produces drafts for various railway projects and corporate design for well-known products and companies in Germany and abroad in his graphic and product design studio .

For the first cable car project, the single-cable circulating cabin for Swoboda in Gmunden , the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs awarded the award for good design in 1989 .
