Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund (born May 29, 1990 in Stockholm , Sweden ) is a Swedish e-athlete who became known for his achievements in the professional counter-strike scene. He played with the Swedish esports clan Ninjas in pajamas until the summer of 2019 . Alesund is a two-time winner of the eSports Award .
Career
Alesund was admitted to the Ninjas in pajamas on August 14, 2007 after initial local successes . However, the team broke up again after a short time. From September 2007 to March 2008 GeT_RiGhT was a substitute player at SK Gaming . During this time it was used at the Extreme Masters Season II Finals . The team finished fourth. On January 19, 2009 Alesund became part of the fnatic lineup around Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg and Patrick "cArn" Sättermon . During the course of 2009, the Swede celebrated winning the Global Finals of Extreme Masters III in Hanover , the Electronic Sports World Cup in Cheonan , KODE5 in Moscow and the World e-Sports Masters in Hangzhou and was thus part of the most successful team in Counter -Strike 1.6 in 2009. GeT_RiGhT won two eSports Awards in 2009 in the categories Best Counter-Strike Player and eSports Player of the Year 2009 for its achievements . In 2010, Alesund won with fnatic at the IEM V - Shanghai, among others . GeT_RiGhT won the 2010 ASUS European Nations Champions with the Swedish national team . In December 2010, the Swede moved to SK Gaming together with Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg . With this team he won the Electronic Sports World Cup 2011 and events from DreamHack and Intel Extreme Masters .
On August 10, 2012 Alesund was conducted as part of the new team of the new game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive again launched Ninjas in Pajamas presented. The new team quickly became dominant in the new game. In 2012 GeT_RiGhT contributed to victories at the Electronic Sports World Cup and at the DreamHack Winter with the best K / D rate of his team in the respective competition . The team was able to win a total of 87 maps in a row at LAN events by March 2013 , setting a new record. GeT_RiGhT showed a special performance at the events of the E-Sports Entertainment Association , of which NiP won two in 2013. Alesund's team won over twenty tournaments in 2013 , but NiP did not win the first major DreamHack Winter 2013 . GeT_RiGhT was voted best player of 2013 by HLTV .org. Although the Swede also received this honor in 2014, the team lost the dominance of the first few days. However, the ninjas in pajamas were able to hold their own in the majors. The highlight was winning the ESL One Cologne 2014 . It wasn't until the ESL One Cologne 2015 that Alesund and his team missed the final for the first time. On April 17, 2016, Christopher Alesund's team was able to secure 1st place in the Dreamhack Masters Malmö 2016.
