The ESL Pro League ESEA Dubai Invitational was a tournament in the e-sports - discipline Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , which until 12 September 2015, the scope of the gaming exhibition of 10 GAMES 15 in the Dubai International Marina Club took place. The total prize money of the tournament was 250,000 US dollars . The tournament reached over 300,000 viewers simultaneously on Twitch in the final .

Attendees

The participants were determined by a team ranking created by the ESL, which ranks the teams based on the successes of players and organization in the past year. The five most successful teams in Europe and the most successful team in America were invited. On August 25, the Electronic Sports League announced that it would invite two more teams, Team SoloMid and Titan eSports .

Final round

The ninjas in pajamas got off to a strong start on their own Mappick de_dust2 and were able to win the game 16: 7 after a 12: 3 half-time lead. On the second map de_mirage, Team SoloMid was able to dominate on their T-side after a balanced first half and won with 16: 8. On the third map de_inferno TSM won with 16:10. In the second semi-final game between Virtus.pro and fnatic , the Swedes won their Mappick de_cobblestone 16: 7. Virtus.pro dominated the two other maps with a 16: 5 win on de_train and a 16: 4 win on de_cache.

In the best-of-five finals between Virtus.pro and Team SoloMid , the two teams each won their Mappicks. On the de_mirage decision map, which had become necessary, Virtus.pro went into halftime with 12: 3. In the second half, Team SoloMid's lineup showed a comeback and took a 14:13 lead. However, the Danes could not maintain this lead and in the end lost 14:16.
