Finn "karrigan" Andersen (born April 14, 1990 ) is a Danish e-athlete who was active in Counter-Strike 1.6 until 2012 and has been successful in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive since 2012 .

Career

In the game Counter-Strike 1.6, Finn Andersen drew attention to himself at several Danish LAN events before he came of age . In November 2010, the Dane with German roots , who played under the nickname karrigan , was accepted by mousesports . He took part in tournaments in the People's Republic of China and South Korea with the mousesports team . He and his team came second in the fourth season of the Intel Extreme Masters in Guangzhou . In the ESL Pro Series , he won two German championships with mousesports. At the Electronic Sports World Cup 2011, karrigan was voted best player. Andersen was ranked eighth of the best CS players of 2011 by HLTV . In 2012, karrigan moved to the British organization Fnatic . The Dane celebrated with this team in 2012 at DreamHack competitions in Bucharest and Jönköping . He achieved other notable first places with fnatic in 2012 at the Swedish Championship, the Copenhagen Games or the GameGune. When Andersen switched to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , a period of many changes and few successes followed. In the first three major tournaments , the Dane failed with the teams n! Faculty , Reason Gaming and Copenhagen Wolves in the group stage. In December 2014 Andersen joined Team Dignitas . The team finished third in the 2015 MLG X Games Aspen CS: GO tournament before being taken over by Team SoloMid . Since then, karrigan has won tournament victories with TSM in the FaceIT , CSGO Championship Series and Fragbite Masters competitions . After Andersen and his team separated from Team SoloMid in December 2015, they founded the Astralis organization in January 2016 . The team reached the semi-finals at MLG Columbus 2016 and the quarter-finals at ESL One Cologne 2016 .

On October 19, 2016, Andersen joined FaZe Clan . Since then Andersen has been successful at tournaments of FACEIT , Star Ladder and Intel Extreme Masters . In January 2018, Andersen reached the final of the Eleague Major: Boston 2018 with FaZe . After being removed from the active lineup by FaZe in December 2018, he moved to Mousesports in March 2019.
