GDR championships in boxing 1977
The GDR boxing championships were held for the 29th time in 1977 and took place in Berlin from March 22nd to 26th . 109 boxers took part in the title fights and determined the champions in eleven weight classes. The ASK forward Frankfurt / O. was the most successful club of this championship with five titles. With Dietmar Geilich , Stefan Förster , Ulrich Beyer , Günther Rostankowski , Ottomar Sachse and Jürgen Fanghänel , six boxers were able to defend their title from the previous year.
