GDR boxing championships 1982
The GDR boxing championships were held for the 34th time in 1982 and took place in Cottbus from December 7th to 12th . 120 boxers took part in the title fights and determined the champions in twelve weight classes. Boxing also took place in Laubusch (preliminary round) and Senftenberg (preliminary round to semifinals). The SG Wismut Gera was the most successful club in this championship with three titles. With Wolfgang Prosch , Frank Rauschning , Michael Timm , Ralf Hunger and Ulli Kaden , five boxers were able to defend their title from the previous year.
