The Daly River Road is a trunk road in the north of the Australian Northern Territory . It connects the Dorat Road south of Adelaide River with the settlements of the Aboriginal reservation Daly River / Port Keats on the Joseph Bonaparte Gulf and ends in Wadeye .

The paved, two-lane road branches off the Dorat Road (S23) to the west 33 km south of Adelaide River and runs along the southern border of Litchfield National Park . After 78 km the village of Daly River is reached on the upper reaches of the river of the same name .

From there, a dirt road leads southwest to Nganmarriyanga (Palumpa) and Wadeye in the Aboriginal-administered area. An official permit ("Permit") is required for their use.

The highest point along the road is at 194 m, the lowest at 13 m.
