Daniel Giese (born January 28, 1985 in Berlin ) is a former German track cyclist .
In 2001 Daniel Giese became German junior champion in the team sprint , together with Nico Hartmann and Steffen Morgenstern. In the youth class he was third in the 500 meter time trial and in the sprint . Two years later, at the UCI-Bahn World Championships for Juniors on the Velodrome of Krylatskoje in Moscow, Junior World Champion in the team sprint with Dominik Harzheim and Sebastian Döhrer .
At the German track championships in 2005 in Hamburg-Stellingen , Giese won the team sprint championship title together with Sören Lausberg and Marco Jäger . In the same discipline he was runner- up in Fiorenzuola d'Arda , together with Jäger and Robert Förstemann .
