Daniel Gregg Santiago Lynn (born June 24, 1976 in Lubbock , Texas ) is a Puerto Rican basketball player . He is used in the position of the center or the power forward and has been playing for the Belgian first division club Spirou BC Charleroi since the 2010/11 season .

Santiago began his career in 1995 in the US college league NCAA at the University of New Mexico . He then worked in his home country for Bayamon, in Italy for the Varese Roosters , with whom he won the Italian championship title in the 1998/99 season , and for the NBA teams of the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks .

With the Puerto Rican national team , Santiago took part in the basketball world championships in Indianapolis in 2002 , in Japan in 2006 and in Turkey in 2010 , as well as in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and 2004 in Athens .

From 2005 to 2008 Santiago played in the Spanish professional league Liga ACB for Unicaja Málaga and was able to reach the Spanish championship with the team from Andalusia in his first season .
