Darren Michael Langdon (born January 8, 1971 in Deer Lake , Newfoundland and Labrador ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player who played 546 games for the New York Rangers , Carolina Hurricanes , Vancouver Canucks , Canadiens de Montréal and New Jersey Devils has played in the National Hockey League on the left winger position .

Career

Langdon played during his junior years until 1992 in the Maritime Junior A Hockey League with the Summerside Western Capitals . From there he moved undrafted to the Dayton Bombers from the East Coast Hockey League in the summer of 1992 . On the Binghamton Rangers of the American Hockey League , for which he also came in the same season inserts, managed the striker during the by the lockout shortened NHL season 1994/95 for the first time made it into the squad of the New York Rangers from the National Hockey League . After a two-year hiatus, Langdon returned to the 2008/09 season again on the ice and played in the West Coast Senior Hockey League and Newfoundland Senior Hockey League for various teams over the next five years . At the beginning of the 2014/15 season, he was the coach of the Corner Brook Royals in the Newfoundland Senior Hockey League for two years .
