Dejan Petrovič (born January 12, 1998 ) is a Slovenian football player .

Career

Petrovič started his career at NK Aluminij . In May 2015 he made his debut for Aluminij in the 2nd SNL when he came on as a substitute for Luka Vindiš on the 26th match day of the 2014/15 season against NK Šmartno in the 60th minute . This was his only season use. In November 2015, he scored his first second division goal in a 5-0 win against NK Kranj . In the 2015/16 season he made twelve appearances in the 2nd SNL, in which he scored two goals. With Aluminij he was promoted to the 1st SNL at the end of the season . In July 2016 he made his debut in the top Slovenian league against FC Koper . In his first first division season he came to 16 missions. In the 2017/18 season, he made 33 top division appearances. In August 2018 he scored his first goal in the 1st SNL in a 5-2 defeat against NK Maribor . In the 2018/19 season he also made 33 appearances in which he scored three goals.

After another 20 in the 2019/20 season, he moved to Austria to SK Rapid Wien in February 2020 , where he received a contract that ran until June 2023.

National team

Petrovič played in May 2013 for the first time for a Slovenian youth national team. In April 2014 he made his debut against Switzerland for the U-17 team . With this he also took part in the EM in 2015 . Petrovič came to two missions during the tournament, Slovenia was eliminated as the last in Group B in the preliminary round.

Between February 2015 and April 2016 he came to 15 missions for the U-18 selection . In 2016 he played six games for the U-19 team . In September 2018 he made his debut against Kazakhstan for the U-21 selection . In January 2019, he played a game for the B national team against a Chinese selection .
