The Meckenheim-Rheinbach deanery was one of 7 deaneries in the Roman Catholic district deanery Rhein-Sieg-Kreis in the Archdiocese of Cologne until December 31, 2016 . It was located in the south of North Rhine-Westphalia on the left bank of the Rhine-Sieg district on the border with Rhineland-Palatinate . As well as a small part in Rhineland-Palatinate in the Ahrweiler district . The Meckenheim-Rheinbach dean's office was created in 2000 from the Meckenheim and Rheinbach dean's offices. As part of the reorganization of the deaneries in the Archdiocese of Cologne, it was dissolved on December 31, 2016 and merged into the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis district deanery.
