Doctors earlier! with the subtitle The sale continues! is the third compilation album of the German punk rock band Die Ärzte . It was released on CD , MC and LP after the band split up on February 13, 1989.
The album reached number 4 in the German album charts and was awarded gold.
background
On this multi-sound sampler, the EP became Too good to be true! , the mini-album Uns geht's prima ... as well as the sampler contributions from Die Ärzte on Ein Vollrausch in Stereo - 20 foamy mood hits ! and Breath of the Jungle re-released. The album cover bears the signature “75% old hats!”.
The album was released by both Vielklang and Metronome. In 1993, when the reunion took place, a second edition appeared, but it was no longer available on MC.
"Tittenmaus" and "Wilde Mädchen" were two previously unreleased songs, which, however, were only recorded "secretly" in 1988/89 (doctors were contractually prohibited from recording songs for other labels) exclusively for this release. The doctors acted as if they had already recorded the songs during the multi-sound times. Here, however, the band made a mistake: In the Keyboard solo to the song Tittenmaus Bela B. quoted briefly the song Purple Rain by Prince , which did not exist at the time of the alleged production and thus betrayed the secret later production. Wilde Mädchen was played live as early as 1983, which can be seen on the bootleg CD Quite earlier and completely new . Also Tittenmaus been given since 1983 live concerts as an opener of the best. The remaining songs were written from 1982 to 1983.
The songs Teenager Liebe and Grace Kelly can also be heard in the film Richy Guitar .
Teenage love
Teenage love first turned on Too Good To Be True! released. For the 1984 album Uns geht's prima ... Die Ärzte recorded another version of the song. The versions are now in "Teenage Love (Real)" from Too good to be true! and "Teenager love (fake)" from We're fine ... differentiated. In addition, "Teenager Love (fake)" was released as the only single from the album.
