Garret Dillahunt (born November 24, 1964 in Alameda , California ) is an American film and stage actor .

Life

Dillahunt grew up in Washington state and studied journalism at the University of Washington . He then moved to New York , where he attended classes on acting at New York University . Dillahunt was on the theater stage from 1991 before he made his film debut in the television series Love, Lies, Passion in 1995 . Other roles followed, the best known of which is that of Matthew Ross in 4400 and that of Steve Curtis in Emergency Room .

In 2006 he stood for the eight-part miniseries The Book of Daniel as Jesus of Nazareth front of the camera, and received by the conservative, Roman Catholic side blame, as it is in The Book of Daniel about the reincarnation of Jesus' in an environment of drugs and violence went . The series was discontinued.

In the HBO series Deadwood , Dillahunt played both the historical character Jack McCall and the fictional character Francis Wolcott.
