Domenicus Petruzzy
Domenicus Petruzzy (* around 1610 in Maroggia , † 1683 in Kaisersteinbruch in the Turkish War ) was a Ticino master stonemason and sculptor of the Baroque , head of the Kaisersteinbruch stonemasonry .
He was the younger brother of master Ambrosius Petruzzy , both of whom worked in the Kaisersteinbruch stonemason trade.
Life
His first wife Margaretha died before May 12, 1646. From the scriptures it can be seen that Margaretha NN was a wealthy master widow who made it possible for the young Domenicus to become a master.

Salva Guardia privilege for Kaisersteinbruch
On December 5, 1646, Petruzzy, together with Andre Ruffini , Pietro Maino Maderno , Hieronymus Bregno and Ambrosius Regondi, was exempted from all public charges and services and received the imperial Black Eagle privilege .
Rebellion against the administrator at the royal court
In 1647, through a rebellion , without the consent of the authorities - the administrator of the Königshof - Andreas Leinwather, meat chopper from Breitenbrunn , was sworn in as a butcher in a quarry.

A Viennese master stonemason acquired a quarry in 1651
Andre Ruffini died in September 1648. The widow Agatha remarried and on July 24, 1651 sold the house including the quarry for 1,300 fl to the Viennese master stonemason, former master builder of St. Stephan , Hans Herstorffer .

Quarry tenant in 1652
The widower had remarried, there is no data about it, Magdalena became his second wife. On March 11, 1652, both leased a quarry - they received a guarantee of a quarry in Alda , next to Hans Herstorffer . Including “annual Michaelis” 3 fl 4 shillings , or a clean door frame 6 shoes high and 3½ shoes wide.
- This quarry was previously owned by master Andre Ruffini, he sold the same master Ambrosius Petruzzy for 100 fl. Ambrosius had "ceded half of it" to his biological brother Domenicus instead of an owed portion of the inheritance of 50 fl, and when Ambrosius Petruzzy "remains of death" he owed the St. Rochus Church over 100 fl. Half of the quarry went to the church instead of this debt. The above mentioned master Domenicus replaced the ordained church fathers for 75 fl, and thus the whole quarry came to him.
Pouring wine 1653
The "Leutgabe" (pouring wine) was divided in the quarry between the rulers and the residents. The Heiligenkreuz Abbey devoted part of its income to building the church , difficulties arose in 1653, and the quarries wanted to exercise the law on their own.

The parish church of St. Rochus and Sebastian in Heiligenkreuzer Steinbruch made a list of those who came to the Easter confession and St. Have received communion . 125 local residents were counted in 23 houses.

Hofsteinmetzmeister Ambrosius Ferrethi had donated soul masses for the deceased master Domenicus Petruzzy during his lifetime and also in his will (1696).
After Domenicus Petruzzy's death, the heirs had to pay 3 guilders Canzley tax to the rule in 1686 .
With his death the name "Petruzzy" disappears from the Kaisersteinbruch writings.
