Donald McDougall was an American track cyclist .

At the UCI track world championships in 1912 on the Velodrome in Newark , local hero Donald McDougall was world champion in the sprint of the amateurs .

McDougall started for the New York Athletic Club . In 1912 and 1913 he became national champion in the quarter mile sprint. He also set four national records in 1913 and 1914.
