Henry Anders Peter Brask Andersen (born June 23, 1896 in Copenhagen , † November 26, 1970 in Gentofte ) was a Danish track cyclist .

Henry Brask Andersen was the best Danish sprinter between the two world wars. He started active cycling in 1913. Between 1918 and 1928 he was twelve times Danish champion in sprint and over the Danish mile (= 7532.5 meters), from 1918 to 1921 still as an amateur, then as a professional. In 1920 he took part in the Olympic Games in Antwerp in the sprint and tandem disciplines (with Axel Hornemann Hansen ). During his professional career, Brask Andersen also drove stayer races in the USA; he once suffered a serious fall because the power went out in the hall.

In 1921 Brask Andersen became the amateur world champion in sprinting in front of a home crowd in Copenhagen . He started as an amateur for ABC Copenhagen. In 1933 he ended his cycling career and has been for over 30 years coach of "Danish Bicycle Club" on the cycling track of Ordrup . He also ran a driving school.

His son was the track sprinter Kield Brask Andersen , who became Danish champion in 1939. Both father and son had to bow to the strong Danish sprinter Willy Falck Hansen in many races .
