Émile Arsène Clément Pierre Maitrot (born July 2, 1882 in Meurville , † September 14, 1916 in Lihons ) was a French track cyclist and world champion.

In 1901, Émile Maitrot became world champion in the sprint of amateurs in Berlin . In 1891 a cyclist of the same name from Chaumes took 17th place in Paris-Brest-Paris ; it is unclear whether this is the same driver.

Maitrot fell as a soldier in World War I during the Battle of the Somme .
