Drosendorf am Eggerbach is a Franconian parish village that belongs to Eggolsheim .

geography

The parish village on the eastern edge of the Erlanger Alb foreland is one of 13 officially named districts of the Eggolsheim market in Upper Franconia . It is located about five kilometers northeast of the center of Eggolsheim at an altitude of 334  m above sea level. NHN .

history

Until the beginning of the 19th century, Drosendorf was under the sovereignty of the Bamberg Monastery . The village and community rulership was exercised by his office Eggolsheim in his function as bailiwick . This office was also entitled to the highest jurisdiction as a central office .

When the Bamberg bishopric was secularized as a result of the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss 1802/03 and annexed by the Electorate Palatinate-Baiern in breach of the Imperial Constitution , Drosendorf became part of the New Bavarian territories during the "Napoleonic land consolidation" .

Due to the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Drosendorf became a rural municipality with the Second Municipal Edict in 1818. In the course of the municipal regional reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, the municipality of Drosendorf was incorporated into the Eggolsheim market on July 1, 1972.
