Eberhard Storeck

Eberhard Storeck (born March 13, 1933 as Eberhard Karl-Heinz Storeck ; † 2015 ) was a German voice actor , dialogue director and dialogue book author . With Maya the Bee sound carriers, on which he lent Willi his voice, he achieved gold status several times .

Life

Eberhard Storeck began his dubbing career in the 1950s with DEFA , then went to West Germany, where he first worked for the International Film Union in Remagen and then went to the Kirch Group , where he worked on the German versions of Marx's films Brothers was in charge. From the beginning of the 1970s he specialized in cartoon series and wrote a.o. a. the German texts for trick series like Die Biene Maja or Wickie und die stark Männer . In many cases he also took on speaking roles; So he gave Willi (Maya the Bee), Snorre (Wickie) and the Danish cook from the Muppet Show his unmistakable voice. He is also responsible for the narrative rhymes in the cartoon series The Pink Panther and Oggy and the Cockroaches ; the series are silent in other language versions. The first name Paulchen, which the panther only carries in German, goes back to Storeck. In addition, he also wrote and directed the dubbed versions of real series such as Magnum and some episodes of the Golden Girls .

Storeck's success was also due to the fact that he gathered a permanent staff of expressive voices around him, with whom he repeatedly worked. This team included Manfred Lichtenfeld , Fred Maire , Horst Gentzen , Gert Günther Hoffmann , Bruno W. Pantel , Helga Anders , Marianne Wischmann , Walter Reichelt , Werner Abrolat , Tilli Breidenbach , Kurt Zips , Michael Rüth , Berno von Cramm , Herbert Weicker , Leo Bardischewski , Erich Ebert , Thomas Reiner and Mogens von Gadow .

For the German translation of the book Lichte Zukunft ( Swetloe buduschtscheje ) by Alexander Sinowjew , Storeck copied the verses together with Franziska Funke in 1979, as well as in 1981 for Zinoviev's Yawning Heights ( Sijajuschtschie wysoty ), this time together with G. von Halle.

From 1979 to 1988 Storeck was also the tenant of the traditional holiday home “Haus Ahrenshoop” on Sylt .

Storeck last lived in Berlin and died at the age of 81. He was buried in the anonymous grave field of the Keitum cemetery.
