Egarter is the name of a single farm in the community of Prägraten am Großvenediger . The farm is part of the Bobojach fraction .

geography

For a long time, the Egarter farm represented the westernmost part of the Bobojach fraction, with the farm at Bobojach 15 around 700 meters west of the village center north of the Isel and already very close to the Wallhorn fraction . There is now an additional residential building in the Bobojach 15a building to the west of Egarter.

history

For a long time, the Egarter farm was not specifically mentioned by Statistics Austria , but included in Hinterbichl. It was only in the course of the 1951 census that Hinterglanz was given extra with a house and eight residents. In 1961 the statisticians identified a house with 10 residents for Egarter, in 1971 there were twelve residents. In 1981 Egarter finally had two houses with eight residents, as a result of which the place component was no longer shown separately in the local registers of Statistics Austria.
