Energy Bern is a Swiss private radio station . The program went on the air on April 9, 2010 on the frequencies of the previous station Radio BE1 . The station is the second radio station in German-speaking Switzerland under the international NRJ brand . In the first half of 2020, an average of 125,000 listeners will listen to the station every day (Monday to Sunday, D-CH, 15+). Energy Bern is thus the Bernese private radio station with the greatest reach, ahead of Radio Bern 1 .
history
Energy Bern emerged from the previous radio station, Radio BE1, which belonged to Ringier and Publigroupe . Radio BE1, in turn, went on air in 2001 as the successor to Radio Förderband . The station went on air on April 9, 2010. It was the second broadcaster of the NRJ brand in German-speaking Switzerland after Energy Zurich (broadcast started August 15, 2003). The station organizes several events together with Energy Basel and Energy Zurich . The tickets for all events are not for sale, but will only be raffled.
Energy Star Night
The Energy Star Night is a concert event with national and international acts, which takes place once a year in the Hallenstadion Zurich in front of 13,000 spectators. Energy Zurich has been organizing the event since the first edition in 2003. Energy Bern has also been involved in the organization since 2010 and Energy Basel since 2012. Until 2015 the event was called Energy Stars For Free.
Energy Air
Energy Air has been part of Energy's event portfolio since 2014. It is a concert event with national and international acts, which takes place once a year in the Wankdorf Stadium in Bern in front of 40,000 spectators. Energy Fashion Night

Energy Fashion Night is an annual fashion event in Zurich . It has been organized by Energy Zurich and Energy Bern since 2010 and by Energy Basel since 2012. Energy Live Session
The Energy Live Session is a concert series that takes place several times a year in smaller locations in the cities of Basel , Bern and Zurich . International artists appear in an intimate setting. The Backstreet Boys , James Blunt and Sarah Connor have already given concerts.

DAB + station
In addition to the stations from Energy Bern, Basel and Zurich, Energy Bern also offers other radio stations via DAB +. They only broadcast a music program 24/7 and can be received in German-speaking Switzerland.
