Slim and Gracie escape first to a motel and then to Seattle , where Slim meets her former boyfriend Joe. Mitch takes advantage of his relationships and finds them. The men who work for him pretend to be FBI agents and search the apartment, but fail to find the hidden Slim and her daughter.
Slim and Gracie flee again, living under a false identity. Slim learns she has a bad chance in the upcoming custody trial. She hands Gracie over to her friend, travels to San Francisco and trains the Israeli art of self-defense Krav Maga . Slim breaks into Mitch's new house and hides there. Meanwhile, she hides his weapons and items that could serve as weapons. It wasn't until Mitch got home that Slim showed up. Her husband mocks her first, but then it comes to a fight that ends up fatal for Mitch. At the end you see Slim united with her daughter.
