The Erlöserkirche is a Protestant church in Morbach , a municipality in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich in Rhineland-Palatinate .

In 1903 Morbach became the location of a larger train station on the Hunsrückquerbahn, which is now closed . The first Protestant Christians who came to Morbach, which had been a purely Catholic until then, around 1900 were track workers, counter clerks, train drivers and the station master. Since the geographically closest evangelical parish in Sensweiler could only be reached on foot, the Morbach parish had belonged to the Thalfang parish since 1909 thanks to the good rail connections .

In Morbach, the 2nd class waiting room at the train station was initially used for church services. The First World War prevented the construction of a chapel . In the following years the services took place in the Morbach winter school and later in private apartments. In 1934 the political congregation provided the parish with a piece of land on which a small church was completed in October 1935 and the first service was celebrated on December 8, 1935.

The church is used regularly for Sunday services. The parish promotes this with contemporary sermons, modern songs and a subsequent church coffee. Every two months there is a worship service on Saturday evening. After each service there is an invitation to a church coffee in the community hall located in the building complex.
