Erland Johnsen (born April 5, 1967 in Fredrikstad ) is a Norwegian football coach and former football player who was active in his home country as well as in Germany , England and also for the Norwegian national team .
Career
societies
Emerging from the youth of Moss FK , Johnsen moved up to the professional team in 1985 and played - apart from the 1986 season - until 1988 in the Tippeligaen , the top division in Norwegian football. In his first professional season he rose with his club in the Adeccoligaen , the second highest division, and returned as a master of this division for the season 1987 in the "upper house" and was in this Norwegian master . For the 1988/89 season he moved to Germany for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich . He made his Bundesliga debut on July 30, 1988 (2nd matchday) in a 2-2 draw in the away game against Karlsruher SC with a substitution for Hans Dorfner in the 42nd minute. In two seasons he played 21 Bundesliga, five UEFA Cup and two games in the European Champion Clubs' Cup . His only competitive goal for Bayern he scored on March 15, 1989 in the quarter-final second leg of the UEFA Cup to the 2-0 final in the home game against Heart of Midlothian from Scotland .
In the autumn of 1989 Johnsen moved to England for first division club Chelsea , for which he was active for eight years and won the 1997 FA Cup . Shortly thereafter, he returned to Norway and completed two successful seasons for Rosenborg Trondheim and most recently one for Strømsgodset Drammen , who was twelfth in the table and - as a result - had to relegate after the relegation games against Start Kristiansand .
National team
1986 Johnsen made his debut in the U-21 national team , for which he played 16 internationals until 1988 .
Between 1987 and 1995, the robust central defender played 24 times in the national jersey. 19 times for the senior national team (2 goals) and five times in matches that are not / were not recognized by FIFA as senior international matches . He made his international A debut on June 1, 1988 in Oslo in a 0-0 draw against Northern Ireland ; he scored his first goal on November 15, 1989 in Glasgow in a 1-1 draw in the World Cup qualifier against the selection of Scotland .
