The FC Vujadin Boškov ( Serbian - Cyrillic ФЦ Вујадин Бошков ) is the training ground and headquarters of Sportska akademija FK Vojvodina (Спортска академија ФК Војводина; Serbian for "Sports Academy FK Vojvodina"), the youth academy of Serbian football club FK Vojvodina from Novi Sad . The association's office is also located there. The sports complex is located in Veternik , a suburb of Novi Sad, and is one of the most modern of its kind, especially in Southeastern Europe . The training ground was named after Vujadin Boškovnamed, a former Yugoslav soccer player and coach . The youth academy itself is also called Omladinska škola Ilija Pantelić (Омладинска школа Илија Пантелић; "Youth School Ilija Pantelić"), named after the former Yugoslav football player and coach Ilija Pantelić . Numerous talents emerged from the youth academy itself, including Miloš Krasić and Gojko Kačar , and in recent years Dušan Tadić , Slobodan Medojević , Mijat Gaćinović and Sergej Milinković-Savić .

The training ground was built in the early 1970s on the initiative of Vujadin Boškov, a former Yugoslav soccer player and soccer coach. It is located in Veternik, a suburb of Novi Sad. The training ground received five soccer fields and offered the very highest level of conditions. In the following three decades, however, there was hardly any investment in the maintenance of the facility , which meant that it was in need of renovation. In 2006, FK Vojvodina finally renovated the training ground for 2 million euros and officially named it after its initiator Vujadin Boškov. Today the entire facility covers a total area of 88,600 square meters (m²), of which 3,600 m² is construction area and 85,000 m² is open land. The latter comprises six soccer fields, one of which is covered with artificial turf . These are used by the A team and seven younger categories. The youth teams are looked after by around 20 coaches . Two places are also equipped with grandstands , whereby the main place can also be used at night due to floodlights .
There are eight double rooms, seven three-bed rooms and two luxury suites to accommodate the players and the coaching staff . Each of the units has modern equipment. Modern leisure facilities and two press centers are also available. A kitchen and a restaurant cater to the professional team and all younger categories throughout the year. The FC Vujadin Boškov also has all the segments that are necessary for the functioning of a club at European level, such as B. Changing rooms, fitness rooms, a medical center, a warehouse and a laundry . The entire facility is managed by qualified staff and there is also a security service . In terms of functionality, architecture and equipment, FC Vujadin Boškov is one of the most modern training grounds, especially in Southeast Europe.
In 2015 the visual impression of the site was improved again.
Well-known graduates
From the youth academy numerous talents emerged, including with Srđan Babić , Mijat Gaćinović , the brothers Sergej- and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and Radovan Pankov same five players of the Serbian U-20 team , which in 2015 in New Zealand , the World Cup won. The squad of the Serbian U-19 team , which won the European Championship in Lithuania in 2013 , included Gaćinović, Sergej Milinković-Savić and Dejan Meleg of the European champions.
