Faith Prince

Faith Prince (born August 5, 1957 in Augusta , Georgia ) is an American actress and singer .

Life and achievement

Faith Prince graduated from E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg , Virginia , where she grew up. The 1.70 m tall actress has appeared in many Broadway productions , which is why she won the 1992 Tony Award for best actress in a musical for portraying Adelaide in Guys and Dolls . In 1989 and 2001 she was also nominated for the award, once for Jerome Robbins' Broadway and the other time for Bells Are Ringing .

In 1986 she married Lary Lunetta with whom she has a son, Henry. Her role in the television series Huff , as Kelly Knippers, was initially only intended as a minor supporting role, but from the second season she was changed to a leading role. After 13 years she played again, if only in one episode, in Grey's Anatomy , alongside Katherine Heigl , with whom she worked together in 1994 in Daddy Cool - My Father the Hero .
