The Suco Fatisi is located in the west of the Laulara administrative office.

In 2004 the Suco Bocolelo to the south was affiliated to Fatisi. Fatisi had an area of 11.82 km² until 2015. With the subsequent territorial reform, the border to the eastern Suco Tohumeta was redrawn, so that Fatisi now had an area of 12.41 km². In 2017, Bocolelo was separated again as an independent Suco, although the exact demarcation is not yet known and maps are missing. The following information therefore relates to the Suco Fatisi, including Bocolelo.

In the southeast, Fatisi borders the Aileu administrative office with its Suco Seloi Craic . In the northeast is the municipality of Dili with the administrative offices of Vera Cruz (Suco Dare ) and Dom Aleixo (Suco Comoro ). In the northwest is the municipality of Liquiçá with its administrative office Bazartete (Suco Tibar ). Finally, in the southwest lies the municipality of Ermera with the administrative office of Railaco (Sucos Taraco and Samalete ). The border to Tibar is the Rio Comoro , which falls dry outside of the rainy season. Likewise the Beinas , the border river to Dare, which flows into the Comoro at the northern tip of Fatisi. On the road to Dili, about half an hour south of the capital, in the Suco is the Berloi waterfall , where the Rio Comoro falls several meters down the rocks.

Only smaller streets connect the Suco with the outside world. For the parliamentary elections in 2007 , the ballot boxes had to be brought to the polling station in the primary school with porters and horses and then picked up again. There are two settlements in Fatisi: Sabereke and Lebihin . A makeshift helipad and a medical station are located here.

In the Suco are the three Aldeias Banro , Maubouc and Umanlau . Aldeia Bocolelo was dissolved in 2017, and Aldeia Donfonamo is now part of Suco Bocolelo .
