The Federação Portuguesa de Remo (FPR) is the umbrella organization for rowing clubs in Portugal. It was founded in Porto in 1920 . Today it is located at Doca Stº Amaro in Lisbon .
The federation is a member of the World Rowing Federation (FISA) as well as the Portuguese umbrella organization for sport (CDP) and the National Olympic Committee of Portugal (COP). President is Joaquim Sousa , national coach is José Santos .
The FPR maintains a rowing training center ( Centro de Alto Rendimento , CAR) in Montemor-o-Velho .
