Flandre Air was a French regional airline based in Lesquin , which merged with Regional Airlines and Proteus Airlines in 2001 to form the Régional Compagnie Aérienne Européenne .

history

Flandre Air was founded in 1977 as a charter airline . In 1985 the line service between Lille and Metz was started. In 1998 Flandre Air signed a franchise agreement with Air Liberté, which came into effect in 1999. On April 1, 2001, Flandre Air, Regional Air and Proteus Airlines finally merged to form the Régional Compagnie Aérienne Européenne .
