Air Moorea was a regional airline founded in 1968 as a subsidiary of Réseau Aérien Interinsulaire (RAI). Air Moorea mainly operated shuttle flights from Faa'a International Airport in Papeete to Temae Airport in Moorea . In addition, the company also offered flights to more distant islands in the French Polynesia archipelago . In 2010 the company ceased operations.

Incidents
- On August 9, 2007, a DHC-6 Twin Otter crashed into the sea on Air Moorea Flight 1121 shortly after taking off from Moorea Airfield . The machine was on its way to the neighboring island of Tahiti . This flight usually only takes a few minutes. All 20 passengers died, including two European Commission officials .
