La Compagnie is a French airline based in and based at Paris-Orly Airport . It only offers flights in Business Class .
history
La Compagnie was founded in 2013. She specializes in intercontinental business class flights between Europe and North America . CEO Frantz Yvelin previously successfully founded L'Avion with the same business model, which was bought by British Airways in April 2009 .
In December 2016, La Compagnie merged with the French XL Airways in order to generate synergies and thus save operating costs. In the course of the merger, Frantz Yvelin resigned as CEO, his successor being the CEO of XL Airways, Laurent Magnin. Both airlines continue to operate under their own brands.
Destinations
La Compagnie operates flights from Paris-Orly Airport to Newark Liberty International Airport . The London-Luton- New York connection was also offered at times , but was abandoned in 2016 due to the upcoming Brexit. Since May 2019, the Nice – New York route has been flown five times a week.
