The Tripoli airport ( Greek Αεροδρόμιο Τριπόλεως Aerodromio Tripoleos , ICAO code : LGTP) is a Greek military airfield in Tripoli .

The airfield opened in 1973 and is operated by the Greek Air Force . The paved runway with orientation 02/20 has a length of around 1900 meters. A local civil air sports club and a small museum of the Greek Air Force are also located on the premises of the air base. Since 2012 there have been plans to use the air base as a civilian airport in the future.

The runway is occasionally used for dragster acceleration races.
