The Limnos Airport (alternatively Lemnos airport or Ifestos Airport , Greek Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Λήμνου ; IATA code : LXS , ICAO code : LGLM ) is an international airport on the island of Limnos in the East of Greece . It is located about 1 km south of Karpasi and 15 km east of the administrative center of Myrina. The airport is operated by the Greek Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority , or HCAA for short. The airport has a 3016 m long runway with the 04R / 22L orientation. In 2015 almost 100,000 passengers used the airport.
