Frank Rudolf Bülow (* 1967 in Darmstadt ) is a German pop musician and singer-songwriter .

Career

At the age of twelve he gained his first stage experience with performances on the live stage "street music" . In 1983 he signed his first record deal with the band Nike & Few Boys on the label Westside . Frank Bülow was active at around 2,000 live concerts as a guitarist , keyboardist and singer with his own and cover band projects such as Nino & Frank , Boom , Unplugged , Buelow & the local heroes , in the Music project in collaboration with producers Kurt Hauenstein and Michael Münzing .

In 1993 he received a solo contract with Ariola Munich with the single "once" (produced by Robert Ponger in Vienna ) .

In 1995/96 he was on tour in Europe for 18 months as guitarist and background singer for Culture Beat . These included gigs in stadiums with up to 20,000 spectators. As the songwriter of the Culture Beat chart hits Walk the same line (1996) and Rendez-vous (both Culture Beat), he became increasingly famous. Rendez-vous stayed in the Airplay Top Ten for ten weeks and was one of the 20 most played radio hits in 1998 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In 2000 he wrote the hit single Thinking of You from the ATC Top Ten album " Planet Pop " . Frank Bülow composed Marianne Rosenberg's comeback single Wieder da , which reached number 1 in the airplay hit charts in 2001 .

He also worked as a singer for advertising layouts for brands such as Lenor , Eurocard and McDonalds . He has also worked as a choir singer on productions by Markus , Gil, Bastiaan Ragas , Haddaway and Marie-Anett .

From 2002 to 2006 he conducted interviews with Joy Denalane , Joe and Maite Kelly , Midge Ure , Max Herre , Roger Cicero , Peter Maffay , DJ Bobo , Yvonne Catterfeld , Joshua Kadison , Martin Schneider , Michael Mittermeyer for the Darmstadt city magazine VORHANG AUF . In 2003 he supported Sir Elton John's performance with his own band as a choir and orchestra support in the stadium at Böllenfalltor in Darmstadt . Frank Bülow supported the band Vanilla Ninja with his own songs on their hall tour in Germany and appeared as a guest singer in the Tom Keller Band . In 2004 and 2005 he performed as a singer-songwriter for showcases in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich with Boland & Boland , Marque , Regy Clasen , Tom Cunningham, Anna Depenbusch and Pe Werner .

From 2007 to 2010 he worked as a bar pianist in the hotels Kempinski St. Moritz, Breidenbacher Hof Düsseldorf , Arabella Munich. Since 2011 he has been mainly responsible for his projects Acoustic Garden , Hollywood & the side effects and Buelow .
