Frank Høj (born January 4, 1973 in Holte ) is a former Danish cyclist .

Athletic career

In 1995 Frank Høj won a stage of the Tour of Slovenia , in 1997 the Omloop van de Westhoek and the Grote Prijs Stad Zottegem . In 1998 he became Danish road racing champion and won the Circuit Franco-Belge , and in 2000 Le Samyn . In the same year he competed in the Tour de France for the only time and finished 100th, three times he drove the Giro d'Italia and twice the Vuelta a España . In 2003 and 2004 he won the SATS Grand Prix in 2005, he won another stage of the Circuit Franco-Belge for himself. In 2008 he finished second in the Danish championship in the individual time trial and in 2009 third in the Danish road championship.

In 2000 and 2004 Høj started at the Olympic Games. In 2000 in Sydney he finished sixth in the road race, in 2004 in Athens eighth in the road race, and in the individual time trial he finished 16th.

In 2015, Frank Høj confessed to having doped with EPO at the beginning of his career .
