Franz Heinrich von Dalberg zu Herrnsheim (* December 8, 1716 in Heidelberg , † December 9, 1776 at Friedberg Castle , buried on December 13, 1776 in St. Peter in Herrnsheim - today: Worms ) was a baron from the noble family of Dalberg .

Franz Heinrich married Maria Sophie Anna Freiin von Eltz-Kempenich on March 19, 1743 in the Eltzer Hof in Mainz (* October 5, 1722, † November 30, 1763 at Friedberg Castle, buried in St. Peter in Herrnsheim), daughter of Carl Anton Ernst Edler Herr von und zu Eltz and Freiin Helene Catharina Wambolt von Umstadt . The wedding ceremony was carried out personally by the Archbishop of Mainz, Philipp Karl von Eltz-Kempenich . He passed away just two days later. He was the bride's uncle and had taken care of her trousseau in place of his brother, who died young. The family of Franz Heinrich and Maria Sophie Anna lived mainly in Mainz and at Friedberg Castle.

Life

At the coronation of Emperor Franz I in Frankfurt am Main in 1745 , Franz Heinrich von Dalberg was knighted as part of the ceremony. The same is said for the coronation of Emperor Joseph II in 1764.

In 1739 he became Burgmann and in 1755 Burggrave of Friedberg Castle . From February 1743 to May 1744 Franz Heinrich was director of the court music at the Electoral Palatinate court. Then he was senior bailiff in Oppenheim . He was also electoral Mainz and electoral Trier Privy Councilor and governor in Worms .
